I'm not going to lie - I love wearing all black (or monochrome at least) and on a day-to-day bases you would probably see me going about doing my business in a super casual outfit. Not today!
I believe I have found a few simple style picks to elevate your look and make it seem a little more daring this Autumn!
FIND THE BRIGHT SIDE
Choose a bright colour that you love and think suits you best, and buy accessories to combine with anything in your wardrobe.
In my case it's definitely all shades of red - it might be a red lipstick, perhaps you prefer red boots or a handbag, it can also be a red hat just like the one I'm wearing. It can be anything you like but it WILL definitely add a pop of colour and attract some attention rather than having an all-black outfit day in and day out!

ADD SOME TEXTURE
You can always bring the whole look to the next level by playing around with different textures and fabrics. Try out combining different styles of knitwear in the same look, at first it might seem odd but it's the same as playing around with various patterns - if you get it right, it WILL look great!
In the same way you can swap your worn out leggings to a shiny faux-leather trousers. That will not only create a whole new look but also help you finding your confident side!

HAVE SHADES ON HAND
Noting more simple yet effective than adding your best shades! You might already have a pair or two that you LOVE and know work for you. At the same time don't ever be afraid to follow the trend and try out something new. That's exactly how I found my love for cat-eye sunglasses. All in all, all it takes to be daring is to have a few simple tricks behind your sleeve that won't make you feel out of place, but rather lift your mood and spread confidence!
